DAXON - Dariusz Wnykowicz graduated with honors in 1991 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, faculty of graphic design and painting in Prof. Norbert Skupniewicz's studio and Prof. Wojciech Müller's studio of painting and drawing. He realizes his work in oil paintings on canvas and drawings realized by technique - ink/crayon/pencil/flakes of real gold and airbrush technique. His work inevitably refers to nature and figures, with the characteristic contradiction of the components - he simplifies - and the whole composition consistently complicates and, importantly, usually flattening the plans of individual props, opens the board of the image for space; for visual space. Their unrestrained spatiality, always present expanding transparent layer - impossible elements, unobserved, seen in the imagination - expressed by the artist.
